Whe you visit a Temple or have a Monk or Monks / Nuns come to do a Blessing at your home or business it is traditional to give them a gift or offering.

Many things can be given as gifts, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, washing powder, tea, preserved foods (day to day items that a Monk would need)

Other things that can be given are Bell & Dorje, Offering Bowls, Monks Robes, Bags, warm socks, beanie or jumper these  should match the robes in colour if possible.

Money can also be given but is best if it is given to the Monk in an envelope as som traditions such as Theravada are not to handle money directly.
